Creation of a new State of the Art Social Welfare Office for the Fingal catchment area, staffing 46 employees to provide Social Welfare services to the region.

The INTREO Office Refurbishment and Fit Out comprised of the complete strip out of existing offices and the internal fit-out and general refurbishment of the ground, first and second floor of the Mainscourt Building in Swords, Co. Dublin.

Specifically, works included a new ambulant stair and lift core to supplement the existing stairs and lift, associated ground works, roof cutting out for the provision of the lift enclosure and roof access hatch, new raised access floor to part of the ground floor, provision of new internal walls, new suspended ceiling, new sanitary and kitchen facilities, reception fit out and the installation of Fire Doors throughout the building.

External works included the installation of two new shopfronts in the existing structural openings with new double doors, entrance lobby and associated site works.  New external doors, two glass canopies over the main entrance, external steps leading to the new staff entrance and external signage were also installed.

All electrical and mechanical services upgrades were completed by McKeon Group.

Mechanical works included the upgrade and installation of new bathroom facilities as well as preservation of the existing heating system with some alterations.

A complete new Electrical System was installed including:

  • 25Year Warrantied CAT 6 Data system
  • Queuing System
  • Panic, Fire & Intruder alarm systems
  • Emergency Lighting and complete lighting system using refurbished existing Light Fittings saving the client money
  • New distribution system and consolidation of outdated metering system.

Finally, works also included all floor and wall finishes – painting, tiling and carpeting as well as reception furniture fit-out.
